The association has paid for TeamSnap which are teams are welcome to use. There is no obligation to do so! If you want to use it, email Andrew Hamlin (ice@oemha.ca) with an “owner” name & email address advising which team is involved.

The pros of using TeamSnap are a) the ease of using the app for parents b) the chat function c) it’s typically easier to keep track of attendance.

The cons are a) TeamSnap is NOT linked to goal line (the oemha website) where the master schedules are input & updated so if you choose to use TeamSnap you must ensure that you check goal line regularly (recommendation is to check twice a week) to ensure TeamSnap is kept up-to-date. Games often change, and practices sometimes do – dates / times and locations! This is another responsibility for the manager, so please discuss with your coaches and decide what works best for your team.
 
If you decide to use TeamSnap, we recommend that the notifications from goal line to parents be switched off so that people are not receiving multiple notifications from different sources about the same practice / game. Managers may have access to do this on goal line as an admin. If not, please ask your convenor to do it on your behalf.
