Atom B1 Demons at Nepean Raiders Hockey Tournament
2014-12-16Demons performed well in games and skills section of the Nepean Raiders Hockey Tournament last weekend.
The Demons showed great spirit this weekend when they participated in the Nepean Raiders Hockey Tournament, making their way to the semi-finals only to lose in a shoot-out to the eventual tournament winners.
Not only was the tournament a huge team success, the Demons also won first place in the first annual four man relay race. After winning the first heat our "speedsters" took full advantage of momentum and went on to win the second heat to take the first place medal. Congratulations to Russell, Jeremy, Eric and Hugo.
In the second event, the agility and skills contest, the Demons again demonstrated their talent and won the first place medal in commanding fashion. Our agility and skills players were Jake, Duncan and Kiki. Congratulations guys!
In the hardest shot contest kudos go out to Lucas who registered the second hardest shot in the competition at 41 mph.
