Champions! Novice "A" Ice Storm Light it up in Leitrim!
2015-01-11Ice Storm played hard and disciplined hockey to win Championship!
The Novice A Ice Storm played hard and disciplined hockey over the last three days at the Leitrim Minor Hockey Novice A Hockey Tournament to win the Championship!
Ice Storm had fun playing challenging competitors and are very proud of the way they played as a team and to be winners of the Championship - sharing same with the Orleans Rush Novice A.
The Ice Storm's Tournament journey went as follows:
January 9 - Ice Storm 6 v. Kanata Bulldogs 3
January 10 - Ice Storm 1 v. Orleans Rush 4
January 11 - Ice Storm 3 v. Leitrim Hawks Novice A1 0
January 11 - Ice Storm 5 v. Russell Warriors 0
January 11 - Ice Storm 2 v. Orleans Rush 2 (OT)*
* Co-Champions as decided by Tournament Convenors
The Ice Storm thank the volunteers of the Leitrim Minor Hockey Association Tournament for their hospitality over the tournament weekend. Thank you also for what seemed to be a bottomless "slushee" cup!
