The NSST's are: a set of measurable drills defined by Hockey Canada Phase One of the assessment process, intended to group players for the start of Phase Two OEMHA uses the following stations: Forward Weave & Agility Skate Timed drill (rated out 5 for U9) Record two times for each player to complete - with and without puck Transition – Agility Skate Timed drill (rated out 5 for U9) Record two scores for each player – with and without puck Players must transition forward to backwards and then backward to forward at the pylons Forward Backward Speed Skate Timed drill Record four times – forwards with/without puck and backwards with/without puck Rest assured your child is not trying out for a team or being cut from a team.
